Assos Collective 13 ride to Lago del Naret and San Carlo Val Bavona

This one-day ride explores some of Ticino’s most striking valleys. Participants can choose between a demanding route to Laghetti del Naret and a more accessible route to San Carlo in Val Bavona.

Overview

This road cycling ride leads through Vallemaggia and, depending on the chosen route, continues into Val Bavona or Val Lavizzara. It is intended for trained cyclists with solid experience on mountain routes.

Routes

• Laghetti del Naret challenge: 120 km with 2,400 metres of elevation gain, aimed at experienced participants looking for a demanding challenge.
• Val Bavona Experience: 93 km with 1,300 metres of elevation gain, offered as a more accessible alternative.

Organisation

Support vehicles accompany both routes throughout the day, providing fresh water, drinks, snacks and basic mechanical assistance. Depending on the number of participants, groups of different levels will be formed and ride together as far as possible to Bignasco before splitting according to the selected route.

Atmosphere

After the ride, the programme continues with pizza, a DJ set and the distribution of gift bags.
