About the event
Marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bruna Martinelli, writer and farmer from Avegno, this evening is dedicated to readings from her stories portraying rural life in her home region.
Programme
Set in Avegno, the short narratives offer vivid and realistic snapshots of peasant life. With irony at times and depth at others, Bruna Martinelli paid tribute to her land and to a way of life that has largely disappeared.
The evening will also feature music by Valmaggia dialect singer-songwriter Gabriele Martini and will conclude with refreshments.
