A stage version from the cycle of Charlemagne’s knights brings battles, magic and the love for Angelica to Locarno in the tradition of the Opera dei Pupi.
About the performance
Paris is under threat while many of Charlemagne’s knights have left the court in search of Angelica. Orlando abandons the court, and King Charlemagne entrusts Rinaldo with command of the French army. Yet Rinaldo too is carried away by his love for Angelica, leading to a duel between the two knights.
