A chamber concert between elegance and irony featuring Beethoven's Sextet op. 81 and two celebrated works by Mozart.

Programme

This chamber concert is dedicated to Viennese Classicism and focuses on works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Content

The programme opens with Beethoven's Sextet op. 81, an early work full of energy, freshness and refined colours. The combination of string quartet and two horns creates a lively musical dialogue.

Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik follows, admired for its melodic clarity and balanced form.

The concert concludes with Mozart's Musikalischer Spaß, a witty work rich in irony and musical humour. Through deliberately paradoxical ideas, the composer playfully questions the conventions of his time.
