Crib at Corippo

A group of volunteers originally from Corippo, following a long tradition, set up a beautiful nativity scene in the Blessed Virgin of Carmel Church. It is one of the largest in Ticino and we invite you to visit it.
The church is open daily from December 8, 2025 to January 31, 2026 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Fot the third year, from December 12, Saturday, to December 14 Sunday, there will be a three-day celebration "Le notti incantate di Corippo" with a visit to the crib, Christmas concerts throughout the village, fairy tales, hot tea, mulled wine and the Cheese Fondue in the Osteria.
There are no parking spaces available. A shuttle service with "Verzasca Mobile" has been organized for the occasion, thanks to collaboration with the "Fondazione Verzasca". Departure between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. from the Posse Restaurant in Lavertezzo or from "Bivio di Corippo". Corippo can also be reached by Postbus to "Bivio di Corippo" and a 15-minute walk.
