On Saturday, July 5th at 5:30 PM, a fashion show will take place at the Majid Foundation featuring students from the School of Arts and Crafts in Tailoring (SAM) in Lugano, who will present a collection of dresses and shirts inspired by the work of internationally renowned Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. Her solo exhibition "Flowers of My Desire" will be on view from June 15 to October 12, 2025, at the Municipal Museum of Modern Art in Ascona.
Among the designers of the showcased garments, three winners will be selected to take part in a two-week training program in Lisbon at Joana Vasconcelos' atelier, made possible thanks to the financial support of the Majid Foundation.
