Festa Monti di S. Abbondio

Join us for the traditional festival at Monti di S. Abbondio – a day of nature, community, and lively entertainment! You can reach the site on foot: about 1 hour and 15 minutes from S. Abbondio or 50 minutes from Monti di Gerra. Alternatively, helicopter flights are available from Monti di Gerra between 10:00 and 10:30 AM (reservation required).

The Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 AM. The refreshment stand opens at 11:30 AM, and from 12:00 PM a traditional risotto with “luganighetta” will be served – a vegetarian option is also available.

The day will be filled with cheerful folk music. Return helicopter flights to Monti di Gerra are scheduled between 4:00 and 4:30 PM.

In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled (no alternative date).
