To mark International Biodiversity Day, Valmaggia’s international cooperation associations organise an evening dedicated to Bruno Manser, the Swiss anthropologist who disappeared mysteriously in Borneo whilst campaigning on behalf of the indigenous
Penan and against the exploitation of the rainforests. Two speakers who knew him personally will tell his story: Pia Giorgetti Franscini (Cantonal Museum of Natural History) and Antonio Cassina (former president of Capriasca Ambiente).
