Lucia has a sweet tooth for cookies and often gets into trouble getting them. "You'll end up like that scoundrel Otto Krunf," her father, the miller, tells her. In the forest near Lucia's village, lives the Brigand, hated and feared by all for his legendary raids. Behind appearances, however, lies an unexpected truth: Otto Krunf, who doesn't know mathematics, is exploited and deceived by the beloved King of those lands, who enriches himself by plundering the villagers...
