In 2026, Festeggiamo! once again brings the Piazza Grande cinema atmosphere to evocative locations across the Locarnese and Valleys. In Muralto, the film «Marcello mio» will be screened in its original version with Italian subtitles.
About the event
Festeggiamo! is an open-air cinema series that brings the Piazza Grande film experience to different locations across the Locarnese and Valleys. Its fifth edition presents eight films selected by Giona A. Nazzaro, artistic director of the Locarno Film Festival, and highlights outstanding women of cinema honoured in past editions of the festival.

The initiative is organised and funded by the municipalities of the Locarnese and Valleys in close collaboration with the Locarno Film Festival, Radio Ticino, Amici del Cinema del Gambarogno and the Cinematografo Ambulante (Cinetour).
