In 2026, Festeggiamo! once again brings open-air cinema to atmospheric locations across the Locarnese and Valleys. In Brione s/Minusio, Paterson by Jim Jarmusch will be shown in the original version with Italian subtitles.
About the event
Festeggiamo! is an open-air cinema series held in various locations across the Locarnese and Valleys.
The fifth edition presents eight selected films curated by Giona A. Nazzaro, artistic director of the Locarno Film Festival. The programme is connected to outstanding women of cinema who were honoured at past editions of the festival.

The initiative is organised and supported by the municipalities of the Locarnese and Valleys in collaboration with the Locarno Film Festival, Radio Ticino, Amici del Cinema del Gambarogno and Cinematografo Ambulante (Cinetour).
