The Great Festival of Monte Comino

The traditional Festa sul Monte di Comino is back, with its delicious carne alla pioda (meat cooked on a hot stone) and various salads. There will be a big raffle, lots of fun and great music from the Bandella Comino Band.
Ascend from Verdasio by cable car starting at 8:00 a.m. The cost of the ride is discounted by 50%. You can also walk up in about 1.25 hours or take a helicopter at a cost of CHF 25.00 per person, departing 500 metres from the cable car valley station at 9:30 a.m.
The day's programme includes:
11:00 a.m. Holy Mass.
12:00 p.m. distribution of meat cooked on a pioda with fresh salads.
1:30 p.m. folk music
3:00 p.m. lottery draw.
We strongly recommend using the Centovallina (https://www.vigezzinacentovalli.com) to reach Verdasio.
