After the winding climb by bus or car to Alpe di Neggia, you head towards Monte Tamaro. The path is well marked and crosses the beautiful natural landscape of Gambarogno. You pass through generally sparse forest and climb a steep slope along the rock. Some parts are equipped with a rope to hold on to. You proceed towards the summit following the ridge, from where you have a 360° view. Then you pass through a magnificent green landscape to Alpe di Montóia, where you can rest. The path descends towards the Monti Sciaga and Monti Idacca. From here it alternates between path and road to return to Alpe di Neggia, where you take the bus again.
