Brione sopra Minusio-Monti di Lego-Brione sopra Minusio

By bus to Brione sopra Minusio (Chiesa), where the circular walk starts. Minusio is a residential area above Locarno, which is very popular not least because of the view. Walk up through the houses to the start of the red and white hiking trail, in the direction of Contra. Soon you pass the "Capèla Rota", a chapel that was never completed. A little further on, you cross the little stream over the arched bridge "El Ponte del Sipp". From Contra, mostly up through the forest to the settlement of Corte del Bafa. The last stretch to Monti di Lego is on the Sentiero Verzasca (SwitzerlandMobility no. 74). Monti di Lego is a small paradise to enjoy peace, views and nature. The little church, the small lake and the Capanna Grotto Monti di Lego (open April-October) make this a very special place. Take trail no. 74 back through the forest to Resa di dentro and down to Viona and Brione sopra Minusio, where the bus leaves.
