Brione sopra Minusio-Monti di Lego-Brione sopra Minusio

The bus arrives at Brione s. Minusio (Church), where the route begins. Minusio is a popular residential area above Locarno, not least for the view it offers. You pass between houses and ascend to the entrance of the trail marked white-red-white towards Contra. Soon you reach the "Capèla Rota," an unfinished chapel. A little further on, you cross the small stream on the arched bridge "El Ponte del Sipp." From Contra, you walk mostly through the forest until the hamlet of Corte del Bafa. The last part to the Monti di Lego follows the Verzasca Trail (SvizzeraMobile no. 74). The Monti di Lego are a little paradise where you can enjoy peace, the view, and nature. The little church, the pond, and the Grotto Monti di Lego Hut (open from April to October) make it a very special place to visit. On trail no. 74, you return through the forest to Resa di dentro and descend to Viona and Brione s. Minusio, where the bus passes.
