This short route through the idyllic village of Frasco, in the upper part of the Verzascatal, reflects a simple and inventive past and sophisticated techniques. To produce the energies necessary for life, the elements of water and fire were used. Water to drive turbines such as those of the mill, or fire for heating, cooking, and producing lime. The route includes 13 exciting stations that provide insight into rural life of past centuries, likely inspired by religious fervor. In addition to the 13 stations of the route, three more interesting places can be visited nearby. The so-called "Lüera" (wolf trap) of Alnèd, two furnaces at the entrance of the Efrotal, and the Benàsc quarry, where white marble was once extracted. These points are marked by the letter "a" and an arrow.
