Explanation
This waymarked (red-and-white) round walk starts by climbing steeply amid constantly changing vegetation. Leaf becomes needle and lush turns to barren.
Numerous steps lead to the old stone bridge "Gialìtt", which is after Archeggio, the well-prepared path continuing in zigzag fashion past the Capellona to Alpe Nimi and its eponymous refuge or capanna. Awaiting you are amazing views, which help you forget the arduousness of the ascent.
Stretch your legs and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the surroundings.
Open all year round (though attended only from mid-June to mid-September), the refuge is very simply furnished yet charming.
The descent through inhabited and deserted alps presents no problems and features ever-changing scenery and vantage points.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
