Ronco sopra Ascona-Corona di Pinz-Ronco sopra Ascona

The village of Ronco sopra Ascona is located between Ascona and Brissago and can be reached by bus or car. The red and white tour starts by climbing a steep staircase between villas and gardens. Through the chestnut forest, the path leads to Non, Parcassone and Porera. The stretch between the little church of Parcassone and Porera is rather bare, as there was a forest fire a few years ago. A long curve over Alpe Casone leads to Corona di Pinz. The panorama over the lake, the Maggia delta and the surrounding mountain ranges is wonderful. The short stretch over the ridge back to the ascent path and follow it again in the direction of Cortone (above Arcegno). Through the beautiful natural landscape of the Val Brima the way leads down to Nervone and back to the starting point, Ronco sopra Ascona. The bus departs from here.
