The route develops on the valley floor of the upper part of the valley, beyond the famous double-arched bridge of Lavertezzo.
Not far from the road axis, the flow of the Verzasca river creates a unique and refreshing atmosphere. The green waters color the calm and snow-covered landscape. The bare trees let the warm sunlight filter through, inviting you to pause along the route.
The path is conveniently served by public transport. Starting from the village of Sonogno, you first delve into the discovery of the initial stretch of the Redorta Valley. Then, you pass near the skating rink of the valley's sports center, and continue to the village of Frasco.
