Casa Döbeli is a 17th/18th century Ticino burgher house. The layout of the house is typical of the valleys of Locarno. The original historical elements such as built-in cupboards, walls, doors and stonework have been carefully restored. Bathroom and kitchen have been completely refurbished. A wood stove heats the kitchen and the adjoining rooms.
The stone house has six rooms lined up on two floors, about the same size. These are connected inside by a corridor and outside by an arcade. On the south side there is a garden. On the north side there is a sitting area in the ruins of an older house from the 15th century.
