    Starting from Losone the route follows the banks of the river Maggia and leads further along the river Melezza. After approximately 3 km, near the Losone golf course, you cross the bridge to the other side of the river then turn left  and proceed straight ahead, with the river on your left, running along the river until you reach the Ponte dei Cavalli bridge, from where you have a magnificent view of the Intragna bridge, where the Centovallina railway passes and where bungee jumping enthusiasts occasionally jump. After crossing the bridge, you reach Golino. You leave the main road to descend again to the river bank, which leads  you back Losone.
