Historic patrician house located in Loco, in the remote and charming Onsernone Valley, close to the Locarno region and Lake Maggiore. A unique venue, ideal for small meetings in a peaceful setting far from city crowds.
Fully renovated in 1996, the building is now used for a variety of purposes. It offers two dormitories with 13 beds each, and three rooms with a total of 9 beds. A multifunctional meeting room is available, complete with kitchen, dining area and a spacious panoramic terrace.
Just 30 metres away you’ll find a grocery store, a post office and a bus stop. A pastry shop with local specialities is located 1.5 km away.
The area offers many outdoor activities, including hiking, climbing and canyoning.
The village of Loco is home to a small museum dedicated to local history and a working mill that still produces "farina bona" – a traditional flour made by finely grinding previously roasted corn. This flour is the key ingredient in local ice cream and other regional desserts.
