Very close to the Castello Visconteo, in Via B. Rusca, there is a 16th century manor house built by the Lussy family. The Orelli dei Capitani (hence the name Casa degli Orelli = Casorella) was later acquired by the Rusca family and finally given to the town of Locarno.
The house still contains wall pieces from the old castle. The decorative elements date from different periods, from the 16th to the 19th century.
