The prestigious hotel’s various restaurants offer a huge range of choice to satisfy any guests’ requirements, even for special occasions. The superb quality of the food, the sophistication of the dishes served, and the attention to detail ensure that whatever you choose will always be an unforgettable culinary delight, whether it’s a snack to accompany an aperitif, a quick bite at the beach, the fish and sushi buffet, lunch in the Parco Saleggi restaurant, or the gourmet menu.
The gourmet restaurant Locanda Barbarossa has been awarded 18 Gault Millau points, a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star. The latter, introduced in January 2020, rewards the restaurants that are committed to a more sustainable and green approach to gastronomy. This is the first, and so far only, restaurant in Ticino to receive this award.
The chef, Mattias Roock, and the head of service, Sergio Bassi, delight even sophisticated palates with extremely high-level cuisine and service. During the summer months, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a light lunch or a romantic candlelit dinner in the "Cortile Leone", a courtyard next to the Locanda Barbarossa. The sommelier, Mario Leone, will recommend the most suitable wine to go with the sophisticated dishes prepared by the chef, from the more than 450 wines on the list.
