Sometimes steep, sometimes flat or slightly downhill, the route crosses the twelve settlements of Val Bavona: a characteristic valley, still based on tradition and without electricity, except for San Carlo. Here attractions are many: from the Splüi (large rock slabs used as shelters) and the hanging meadows (boulders covered with soil to grow grass), to the imposing Foroglio waterfall and much more. To regain strength, it is possible to stop at a grotto. From San Carlo, the last stop, you return to Cevio along the same route.
