Oratorio di S. Materno

On the way from Ascona to Losone you can find the remains of the castle of S. Materno, one of the four castles of the town. Partly integrated into a later period building, The building is built in Romanesque style and its oldest part dates back to the 12th century.

Today you can only observe the remains of the chapel.

The oratory, located in a private area, is closed.
