Ponte Brolla - Tegna

Description of the itinerary:

Walk around the ruins of the Castelliere and along the gorges of Ponte Brolla where the waters of the river Maggia flow with impetuosity and where you will find one of the nicest fluvial beaches of the region.
The path leads us up towards the ruins, set at the top of the hill overlooking Tegna, charming point of observation over the Maggia and Centovalli valleys and the gulf of Locarno. These ruins date back to a Celtic settlement but with some additions of roman epoch.
The descent towards the bottom of the valley begins here, passing by the small oratory dedicated to St Anna.
From Tegna to Ponte Brolla the return is possible along the road or the river.
