A beautiful grove of large beeches located on the Neggia Alp is considered an energetic place.
At the metal cross on Monte Gambarogno, the energy is good, but it is stronger a few minutes away on the actual summit of the mountain. On the small plateau next to the highest point of the mountain, there is an energetic vortex that distributes its energy in the surroundings. From here, the view of the lake and forests is extraordinary.
The hike from Monte Gambarogno to the Cedullo Alp is demanding. On the meadow of this alp, there is a beautiful central energetic rock. It is larger than all the others, shows a natural basin for offerings on its surface, and at its feet (front right) a flat-surfaced altar stone.
The clearing near the church of Sant’Anna is an important topographical junction, with many paths crossing before continuing in various directions. Similarly, inwardly the clearing around the church is a suitable place to make decisions when life offers us various possibilities, a place to reflect before making the best choice. The church door is almost always closed, but everyone can take a look inside.

The Neggia Alp is located in the Gambarogno region at 1395m altitude and can be reached by bus no. 326 from Magadino or by private transport. From here, you climb up to the summit of Monte Gambarogno. There are two paths: one is shorter and direct, taking 45 minutes to the summit passing through meadows and pastures and is suitable for families. The other, called the panoramic trail and recommended by local hikers, lasts 1 hour. It starts a few meters to the right of the direct path and, although at first it resembles more of a dirt road, it soon is marked in white-red like medium difficulty hiking trails. Because it passes along the right side of the mountain, it offers an extraordinary panoramic view of Lake Maggiore. Due to some exposed and steep sections, the panoramic route is not suitable for small children.
The excursion passes by the large metal cross of Monte Gambarogno (1687m) and after a few minutes reaches the actual summit of the mountain (1734m). From the summit, it continues downhill, crossing the beech forest of Muda before arriving at the Cedullo Alp (1287m) in less than an hour. From this beautiful alp to the clearing of the church of Sant’Anna (1342m) there are only 5 to 10 minutes left to walk.
From Sant’Anna, the picturesque village of Indemini (979m) can be reached in 45 minutes, passing through beautiful woods, by noteworthy rock formations, and walking trails from which the gaze rests on the beautiful valley below. With the bus or private transport from Indemini, one can return to everyday life.
