Circular trail around Monte Gambarogno with incomparable views of Lake Maggiore.
Starting from Alpe di Neggia, the route winds for about 3 km towards Pasturone, until reaching a junction. From here, you can head towards the picturesque village of Indemini or take the path leading to the Oratory of Sant’Anna. The latter option is followed, ascending a charming trail immersed in the forest.
Once you reach the Oratory of Sant’Anna, the route continues with a slight descent towards Alpe Cedullo. After passing the alpine pasture, the final climb begins: about 2.5 km leading to the summit of Monte Gambarogno.
Here, a stop at Capanna Gambarogno is recommended, where you can relax on the panoramic terrace, enjoy a good coffee, and take in the breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore.
The final descent quickly returns to the starting point, Alpe di Neggia, completing a perfect route for trail running enthusiasts and lovers of unmissable panoramas.
