The Efra butcher founded in 1955 by Efrem Ferrini and later taken over by his son Franchino still continues his business by offering niche and high-quality products.
For over 60 years we have been offering unique products that we produce following the ancient recipes handed over for two generations. Our customers re-discover forgotten tastes, we give them the experience of abandoning normality and entering a new world of tastes and flavours.
We have chosen to invest everything in personal relationships by accompanying our customers in their choices. We offer the opportunity to taste our products in the cellars organizing aperitifs combined with the visit of the historical Efra museum.
Traditions cannot be lost or forgotten, they have to be handed down and this is what we have been doing for over 60 years.
The strong point is our salami, all produced in-house with Ticinese and Swiss meats of first choice aged in traditional cellars that give a unique taste to our sausages and hams.
Our dedication and attention to detail led us to win 3 gold medals at the Swiss Quality Competition carried out by the UPSC in 2017 with the homegrown Luganighetta, matured salami and raw ham.

Upon reservation we offer the possibility to taste our products in the cellars organizing aperitifs combined with the visit of the historical Efra museum.
The guided tour of the museum and cellars lasts approx. 1h, followed by an aperitif, and can be booked in IT, DE, FR or EN.
Cost 30 CHF per person: Including mixed cold cuts, cheeses, bread, 2 glasses of wine and mineral water.
On request we can also organize personalized aperitifs.
